The Akashic Records are a soul-level dimension of consciousness that contain a vibrational archive of every soul and its journey.
The energy that contains the information in the Akashic Records is known as the Akasha, a Sanskrit word meaning, primary substance. This gentle energy is a vibrational quality of light. Working in the Akashic Records requires an understanding of reincarnation and that it may take many lifetimes for us to grow in spiritual awareness and ground this knowledge in our human experience, in essence becoming the perfect self that already exists at soul level in the Akasha.
Each soul has its own Akashic Record, which contains the history of the Soul right from its very moment of its origination from Divine Source – our thoughts, words and deeds create an imprint on the Akasha, leaving an “energetic” record of every soul and its journey – your “soul print”.
We are invited to use the Records as a spiritual resource for transformation and healing – to help us gain insight and understanding on our journey through life.
Although everything is held within our Records, not everything is always available to us – we are only given what is helpful to us and supports us personally in our human experience.
The Akashic Records or the Book of Life have been referenced in many spiritual traditions. In the mid-twentieth century Edgar Cayce also known as the “Sleeping Prophet” popularised the Akashic Records and gave many insightful readings. Rudolf Steiner, the Austrian philosopher, also referenced the Akashic Records in his work.

In the past it was only the mystics, saints and scholars who had access to this resource, however as mass consciousness has developed the Akashic Records are now available to all who can respect this infinite source of spiritual wisdom and light.
The Akashic Records are governed and protected by a group of nonphysical Light Beings called the Lords of the Records. Their role is to ensure the safety and integrity of the Records and, they determine not only who can access the Records, but what information they can receive. The Lords of the Records work with the Masters, Teachers and Loved Ones.
I access the Akashic Records, with your permission. Every name has a distinct vibrational quality so when we open a Soul’s Record we use the name that this soul is currently using in this lifetime.
