Candle Care

The Celestial and Heart-Given Candles are:

Caring For Your Candle:

Both ranges have been created with your wellbeing in mind.

The candles have been thoroughly tested and labelled with clear safety instructions.

The ingredients and contraindications are on the label on the bottom of the candle. Please check these for any allergy and safety information before lighting your candle.

Keep burning candles out of the reach of children and pets.

Keep a burning candle out of the wind, air-conditioning or a fan heater.

Place your candle in a stable and heat-resistant position.

If burning more than one candle at a time place at least 10cm apart.

Never touch or move a burning candle as the container and wax will be hot.

The melted wax will remain liquid until it solidifies so be careful not to spill.

Always keep a burning candle in view and make sure to extinguish when leaving a room.

Never burn a candle on or near something that can catch fire – curtains, bedding, books, paper, anything flammable.

Trim the candle wick to 5mm before burning.

Don’t burn your candle for longer than 2 hours as it may become too hot and cause issues with the packaging.

Don’t burn your candle all the way down and extinguish the flame before it comes too close to the container.

To extinguish your candle its best to use a snuffer as the candle wax will be liquid and warm.

Once cool, replace the candle lid to protect the candle and to be sure it is extinguished!

For any spillages clean the soy wax with hot soapy water.

To Prevent ‘Tunnelling’:

Tunnelling is when the centre of the candle burns down deeply but not the outer edges. To prevent this it is best to burn your candle until the wax has reached the outer edges.

The Wick:

The wick of the candles are traditional cotton ones that burn brightly and safely.
